We are in this business because we love the way a water lily sits gracefully on the surface of the water and enjoy the reflections and textures of bog plants that provide shade and cover for fish.  Our  goal is to help you gain the benefit of our experience to achieve the greatest potential out of each and every plant.  Knowing how and when to repot or fertilize a plant, where to place it in the pond, which plants are shade tolerant, and how to winter them with greatest success makes us your best water gardening resource.  We welcome the opportunity to share our experiences and knowledge with you. 

Replicating Nature

What makes us different is our approach to your backyard pond.  It’s about helping you with choices.  As an example, knowing that the skimmer has its advantages, but is also optional to the pond, enables you to pick and choose the pond components that are the greatest priority for you.  Helping you make choices that bring the enjoyment of water gardening while fitting your wallet is what will keep you coming back.   Advising you to use the tools that nature provides is what makes us different, such as the use of plants as a filter to help you limit or avoid the ongoing use of expensive chemicals and bacteria for water clarity.  It’s all about helping you make choices that fit your life and pond.
